Description
description:
rare antique earthenware of hand made pottery circa 1920-1930 . These items were made in west Anatolia in Turkey with the local clay then decorated with green and ochre each in the traditional drip glaze and swirl patterns. They were purchased from the only local Art collector in western Anatolia 35 years ago and hand carried to the US myself. These 3 urns have been wonderful art objects in in my collection.
dealer advised that the middle size urn was missing its original lid so gave me a lid as these jars were not complete without lids.
