Description
Probably Thailand (Si Satchanalai)
Same design on earliest glazed ceramic pattern same as on the collection at the Met in NY. Overall design of what looks like either leaves or feathers. One bowl appears to be black on gray underglaze. Second bowl brown design over lighter tan colored clay and underglaze. The gray clay could actually be very early celadon. Thee bowls have not been vetted recently. They were purchased in Chaing Mai 1985 from a collector from the historic area where the 14th century Kilns were discovered. Photo shows 3 pieces. The above describes the 2 shallow bowls, the deep bowl is described separately and priced separately as well
