Believed to be 1950’s minimal art painted on white glazed terra cotta bowl and platter By unknown artist in a town near Vallauris in France . There are no markings . Has holes for wires to hang as art.
It is believed that in Vallauris during the 50’s is where there were many artists including Picasso who were experimenting with new expressions in ceramics away from the flowers and other natural elements depicted before the turn of the century and these designs seem to be responding to these new ideas
Origin :found in a gallery in Provence in 1990
